Privacy Policy
Your symptoms are stored on our servers in the Netherlands. They are not shared with advertisers. They are not sold. We cannot target ads at you based on your symptoms — that data does not leave our database for marketing tools.

1. Who is responsible
The data controller is BARS AI LTD, Company No. 16732165, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
Privacy questions: support@perimenostage.com.
2. What we collect
- Account: email, optional display name, country if you provide it.
- Symptom and quiz data: answers to the Stage Finder and Symptom Index, scores, stage labels, and related reports you generate.
- Billing (when payments are live): handled by Stripe (including Managed Payments / merchant-of-record flows). We store subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers — not full card numbers. Stripe's own privacy notice covers card data they process.
- Technical: a signed session cookie that links your browser to your anonymous subject record so quiz progress can be saved. We do not run advertising pixels that receive health data.
- Videos: Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you press play.
- Ad measurement: when you pay, we tell Meta that a purchase happened, with the amount, a hashed copy of your email and browser identifiers, so we can measure our ads. The Meta pixel loads only on the page you return to after checkout and may set a cookie there. We don't do this for customers in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland. Nothing about your symptoms or answers is shared.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not send symptom answers, scores, or stage labels to Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, or email-marketing tools.
- Analytics (when enabled) — Google Analytics and our first-party analytics — may receive event names such as “quiz_completed” — never which symptoms you reported. Cookie details: /cookies.
4. Why we process data
To provide the service you ask for (quiz, report, tracking), to create and secure your account, to take payment when you subscribe, to send transactional email (receipts, trial-ending notice, cancel links), and to meet legal obligations.
Legal bases under UK GDPR typically include contract (providing the service), consent where we ask for it before collecting symptom information, and legitimate interests for securing the service and preventing abuse — balanced against your rights.
5. Where data lives
Application and symptom databases are hosted in the Netherlands (EU). Payment processing is performed by Stripe according to their terms and data processing terms.
6. Retention
We keep account and symptom data while your account is active and as needed for the service. Anonymous quiz subjects that are never linked to an email may be deleted after a period of inactivity. Backups rotate on a limited schedule. You can request deletion (section 8).
7. Sharing
We use processors who help us run the product (hosting, email delivery, payment). They only get what they need for that job. Symptom payloads are not sent to advertising platforms.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact support@perimenostage.com. We will also ship in-product download/delete controls as the account area launches.
You may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or your local supervisory authority.
9. Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
