Editorial policy
We write educational pages for people navigating perimenopause — clear language, cited guidance, no miracle claims.
What we aim for
Practical explanations that match how people actually search and talk about symptoms. We prefer guideline-backed framing over anecdote-as-fact. We do not invent diagnoses or promise outcomes from supplements or HRT.
Sources
Primary references include clinical guidelines and consensus statements (for example NICE NG23-oriented menopause guidance, The Menopause Society materials, STRAW+10 stage concepts, and large cohort findings such as SWAN where we cite them). The working list lives on /sources.
Review and updates
Pages show an updated date when substance changes. We re-check high-traffic symptom dossiers when guidelines shift or readers flag errors. Staging and scoring instruments are versioned in product docs when the quiz logic changes.
Medical boundary
Content is informational. It is not personal medical advice. See the medical disclaimer.
